It was in 1995 when the first Myst, first-person adventure came out that opened with 7th Guest this type of game. Thanks to its cryptic development, the few conversations and the captivating environments, was the bestseller of that year in which it emphasized to be one of the first games in CD-ROM. With multiple imitators, it must be acknowledged that few have come to match their atmosphere and their intricate puzzles. Thus, their influence is not trivial, and companies like the late Cryo have made entire careers by taking Myst as a model. At present, and with the progressive disinterest in adventure games, Myst saw a sad decline in sales, and both Uru and Myst IV were well below expectations. In this sense, why do another Myst ?. The answer for fans of the saga is obvious, but for a study that loses not so much money, so everything that surrounds this fifth installment is a bit funereal and is posed as the end of a cycle. Co-developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Cyan Worlds, Myst V returns to the graphics engine seen in Uru while maintaining the classic interface. Myst IV, which was developed only by Ubisoft Montreal, already corrected Uru's highly debatable third-person interface, which broke both the classic rhythm and control of some puzzles.
